The mission statement of the Burrum Heads Neighbourhood Centre Incorporation Is to provide community support. These supports include outreach services, counselling services, training and employment opportunities, community recovery and skills development.  Our centre provides a meeting place for friendship, information, support, self-development, community involvement and personal growth for adults, elderly, young adults and children in the community, with a view to enhance their lives, mental well-being and to reduce the impacts of social and geographical isolation.  Our focus is to support and assist people in our community.  The intent is to leverage a strong, harmonious, cohesive and resilient community under a community development framework which is both sustainable and transferable into the future by working with local stakeholders, businesses, other Not for Profit organisations and Local, State and Federal Governments.
